Chief Construction Manager leads the works at construction and renovation sites of the residential houses in the Netherlands.
Position title: Chief Construction Manager
Location: The Netherlands
Classification: Full-time
Chief Construction Manager leads the works at construction
and renovation sites of the residential houses in the Netherlands.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising (re)construction and renovation processes from the beginning till the final stage;
- Planning, organization and management of the (re)construction and renovation of the residential houses;
- Securing the necessary level of technology on the production, increasing production efficiency and productivity, cost reduction (material, financial, employment);
- Monitoring of the financial and economic performances, expenses and efficient allocation of the funds;
- Construction schedule formation for the reparation of the building works;
- Preparation of the work schedule, coordination, execution and control;
- Quality assurance of the building works, assessing of sufficiency of resources for the construction, general coordination of the work at the construction site, acceptance of the works from contractors;
- Ensuring and monitoring of the implementation of the deadlines, quality of building and installation works, compliance of building and installation works with approved design and construction documentation;
- Formation of a professional team, line management;
- Execution of the engineering budget;
- Collaboration with project-based organizations;
- Ensuring of the interaction between contracting organizations;
- Coordination and management of employees;
- Document management;
- Monitoring of compliance of legislation on labor protection, safety and environmental protection.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in similar position;
- Real estate construction experience, knowledge of modern technologies and materials;
- Project Management experience;
- Experience and ability to organize works on the construction facilities;
- Responsible for the building result;
- Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines;
- Ability to lead and manage international construction teams;
- Excellent skills in construction planning, design planning, supply processes, financial planning;
- Excellent knowledge and confidence of work with the construction documentation.
- Fluency in Ukrainian in order to communicate with the team members who speak only Ukrainian;
- Fluency in Russian language in order to communicate with a director and owner of the company;
- Fluency in English in order to communicate with architects, suppliers, customers, etc;
- Proficiency in working with MS Office, AutoCad, Project.
